Collage artists can often be seen in two distinct approaches.
Pariwat Anantachina, a Thai collage artist and book designer, creates richly layered compositions―both analogue and digital―that explore themes of memory, identity, and urban life. His works often speak in fragments, evoking emotions through textures, remnants, and rhythm.
In contrast, Akimoto Tsukue (Desk), a Japanese artist, approaches collage from a purely visual perspective―detaching materials from their original meanings and focusing instead on form, color, and composition.

In this duo exhibition, The Sound of Materials, the two artists come together like musicians composing a piece―not with melodies and lyrics, but with scraps, silence, and visual tone. Rather than conveying direct messages, the works invite you to feel them, as if listening with your eyes.
Enjoy the visual harmony created between Tokyo and Bangkok―where two cities, two styles, and two sensibilities meet.

秋元机二人展　7月12日（土）-21日（日）開催

タイ出身の作家、ブックデザイナーである Pariwat Anantachina（パリワット·アナンタチナ） は、記憶、アイデンティティ、都市生活をテーマにアナログとデジタルを重ね合わせた重層的なコラージュ作品を制作しています。断片的でありながら感情を呼び起こす彼の作品は質感や痕跡、リズムによって語りかけてきます。

一方、日本の作家、秋元机（Desk）は素材が本来持つ意味を取り払い、形や色のみで構成する作品を制作しています。意味を超えた視覚的な純粋性が特徴です。
本展「The Sound of Materials」では二人のアーティストはメロディや歌詞ではなく、スクラップ、静けさ、そしてトーンに焦点を当てて作曲をするミュージシャンのように制作しています。
直接的なメッセージを伝えるのではなく、作品から感じ取れるように。目で聴く音楽のように。東京とバンコク、ふたつの都市が出会う視覚的な響きをお楽しみください。
